Price £850 per person based on two people sharing a room.
Price £980 per person for a single room, subject to availability.
1 full day at Apenheul Primate Park.
Apenheul Primate Park is unique, it was the first zoo in the world where monkeys could walk around freely between the visitors. There is no other zoo in the world where you will find so many primates roaming freely, over 200 of them! The monkeys are very friendly and they will come up very close which gives you great opportunities to photograph them. The Orangutans, Gorillas and Bonobos have got beautiful enclosures without obstructions to photograph them.
1 full day at Ouwehands Dierenpark.
New for our 2019 Holland workshop is a visit to Ouwehands Zoo. One of the huge attractions of the Zoo, and a rare photographic opportunity, are the Giant Pandas which reside in “Pandasia”. This is a specially built area consisting of Chinese style structures including a Temple. The “Bear Forest”, the 1st rescue centre in Europe for Bears, houses brown bears that have been rescued from a former cruel life in captivity and now roam in a 5 acres enclosure with their own waterfall and wolves! Another highlight are the White Lions, no fence or glass, an undisturbed view of these amazing animals.
The above is just a snapshot of this remarkable animal park where you will find many opportunities to photograph animals in as close to their natural environment as possible.
1.5 days at Royal Burgers Zoo.
Burgers Zoo is a true paradise for photographers. Burgers Zoo has got the world’s largest covered mangrove, 3000 square meters, with Caribbean Manatees and hundreds of butterflies in all shapes, sizes, and colours. The beautiful 15000 square meters’ indoor tropical rainforest with a 17 meters high waterfall, the biggest indoor desert 8000 square meters in Europe and the largest living coral reef in aquariums outside of Australia. Burgers Zoo has got so much to explore you will love it.
